For this project, the only instruction we received from the client was that he likes his music loud, with lots of mid bass. So we did just that. We started off by replacing his current setup that he had with a pair of our LK series 6.5" coaxial speakers in the front, and two pairs of our LK series 3 way 6x9" coaxial speakers in the rear deck. Powering the high demanding system was crucial, so we used two of our CE-460X 4 channel amplifiers to power it. Power was split between the two amplifiers with our DHL13 power distribution blocks and our 4 AWG wire was used for all power and ground connections. The system sounded wonderful and gave more than enough hi's, and plenty of low to mid bass to satisfy the client.

A factory sound system is never enough. So when this client came to us with the need for a better sound, we decided to go with nothing but the best. We fitted the front doors with MK-602 speakers that gave the system a much better mid-bass response as well as hi's, and then replaced the factory tweeters with our MK-1T system. The install was very clean and factory looking, and even better, the customer was astounded and completely satisfied with the sound.
We took on this project knowing that the customer wanted lots of clean, heart pumping bass. So we added nothing but the best to his factory system. 2 LK-1500 12" subwoofers, a CE-M1500 monoblock amplifier, an LKALC2 line out converter to integrate with the factory system, a CDL-5500 4 AWG amplifier install kit, and our CA-E12DV 12" dual ported box that has a 1" thick face. The customer was incredibly happy with his new system .
This is one of our company demo vehicles, it's a 2010 Toyota Corolla outfitted with top of the lineCedarsLink equipment. The magnificent install was done by Car Audio Warehouse. For this build, the head unit of choice was a Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH because of the high volt pre-out on the RCA's and because of the graphic EQ features. The front and back speakers are the original size, 6.5" and 6x9". We chose to go with the new 2 way MK series for this application found here: http://cedarslink.com/mk-series.html and we were astounded at the perfect mixture of mid bass and full tweeters. We also added MK series tweeters in the door pillar to give it that extra high frequency found here:http://cedarslink.com/tweeters.html, without sounding too bright. For the subwoofer, we went with the LK-1500 12" found here:http://cedarslink.com/lk-series.html . The subwoofer is made for sound quality so it pounds away deadly accurate and tight in the trunk. The custom box that it is in was constructed using fiberglass and gives the trunk the OEM look while retaining space. There were 3 amplifiers used for this build. We used two CE-M1 mini amplifiers found here:http://cedarslink.com/mini.html for the front and back coaxial speakers, and one LK-D2000 monoblock amplifier found here:http://cedarslink.com/monoblock.html for the subwoofer. We used two DHL13 power splitters, one for power and one for ground, and lots of our LT217 RCA's and power wire http://cedarslink.com/accessories.html. The highs amplifiers and connectors were placed on a custom built board under the rear deck so it is out of the way. Overall a very clean job and the sound is phenomenal. Thanks to the guys at Car Audio Warehouse.
